Hellloooo Ridazz,
Initially I was hesitant to post a non-ride event on the forum, but in my heart of hearts I know it's the right thing to do and you will thank me for posting it if you go! Here is my reasoning: SantaCon is what Midnight Ridazz would be if god gave us Santa suits instead of bikes. That's it and that's all.
::::gulp:::::
EXCEPT for this particular "ride" the (dis)organizer is asking that people chip in $21.00..... WAIT!! I know... thats like a bunch of tubes or Tecate or woooowooo's-- but you will forget all about the $21 the second you are faced with the sea of red.... and when I say faced i don't mean FACED... only those who do not attend will be FACED! Nothing (except maybe C.R.A.N.K. MOB) compares to the feeling you get when you see the bazillion Santa's storming the city.

here's a note about the $$ from the (dis)Organizer:
Q: Why $21, what's it for?
A: We may be using the Metro, rental buses, walking, or possibly all three modes of transportation. I’m walking the route tomorrow with a heal spur on my left foot, so rest assured, if I can handle the walking part, I’m pretty sure the rest of you Santas should be just fine. I’m also negotiating free cheap overnite parking for all the Santas driving into downtown LA as well as a few surprises on the route. However, most of this will NOT happen unless I have funding from caring Santas like you. The more folks who PayPal me or mail me the $, the funner the event will be. If I don’t get the funding, it’s gonna be bare bones, and the few who paid me will get their $ back. I hope you all have faith in me to use the money wisely for a really great day so please commit to this event and get me fully funded no later that 12/1. Ho. –HelliSanta
so yeah... if you are going... AND YOU ARE:
PayPal ($21.00) peteatthebeachsd (at) yahoo (dot) com
Snailmail: ($20.00) Pete A. P.O. Box 7468, San Diego CA 92167
BY DEC 1 You basically have until Saturday to get him the $$$! Hurry!
neverclever paid and here's what he had to say about it:
I've paid! So can you!!!! We's all going. Tren Way mandatory. Yes you punka!!! Don't get all cheap now. This is 10-12 hours of fun you'll be having! That's less than $2 an hour! You wont regret it...
Toy Kingdom Inc.
http://tinyurl.com/2w4qar
It's on the north side of Boyd street, two doors east of San Pedro
street in the Toy District Aprox 380 Boyd street
He has this to say about it:
The Santa Suit hangs outside.
It was $15 after I haggled down from $18
Same thing sells for $30 at Party stores
It has hat, beard, jacket, belt, pants, boots (cover). One size fits all.
Don't let your cat sleep on it, she will die!
The outside is soft and fuzzy. The inside is rough and cancerous.
Definitely wear long sleeve/pants underwear underneath.
OK so really.... That's it and that's all..... please go!!

fuck it, I am making a judgment call and I think it's a good idea to bring your bikes, maybe you'll have a chance to ride, i don't know. Better yet, bring a mini bike... just in case ;)
Thats just coming from me, not Santa. Although, I am A Santa. I am not THE Santa. GO!!
ummmm what's the money for again? Was this the case last year too? What about doing this on bikes instead of driving to a parking lot downtown? Where does public transportation fit in all of this?
I heard some about this rampage but the fee was never mentioned. Yeah I don't mind coughing up the money if there's something I get from it, but according to the post, I'm paying for car parking downtown.
user1... i was kinda thinking the same thing.... it is SANTARCHY after all lets just do whatever the hell we want, I think we need to make bikes part of this! I'm not using the downtown parking either. Last year I gave money for a "surprise" thing. I was kinda WTF? but I just did it and we ended up taking a ferry around Long Beach harbor. 1 boat overflowing w/ drunk Santas (getting more drunk of the boat) blasting music and feeding seagulls. I guess it's so that it's more than just a bar crawl... drinking's coo' but acivities and stuff is coo' too! So yeah, whatvs PAY dont PAY Bike dont Bike JUST GO!!! =)
I paid, but know wondering if bringing bike would be such a good idea or no?. I got Folding bike, so it's not that big, but still big enough to be a hassel
I got red folding bike too hee he he, ho - ho - ho!
Borfo is buying everybody Burritos this day.

If anyone still wants to come to this e-mail me : nicolearneson at gmail dot com. It's not to late for you to find something RED-ish or Santa-ish to wear.... just show yo' ass up!! Even if you didn't pay a penny, just e-mail me if you want to go and I'll give you starting point details. You may not be able to participate in whatever "secret thing" that money was for but you will have a fun anyway!!!! Bikes encouraged by ME! I don't like to use the word *crash* but you get the idea....
Uh. Hi. I'm going to chime in for a bit. I was a Santa for several years before I was Rida... Let me tell you. Ridazz fills in those little moments while waiting for the next Santacon (or burning man, for that matter)... Because honestly, you haven't lived... LIVED, until you do something like SantaCon. Midnight Ridazz is just a little taste... just a little pre-jizz. If you've done Tren Way or anything the Cubs get involved with (cubpack, pier pressure & crankmob) you get a bit more spit (or lube). But if you do SantaCon, you are pretty much getting a whole money shot. That's the difference. You can spare $2 an hour for about 10 hours, trust me. The experience is worth a lot - lot - lot more.
Yes Rev Dak, I do agree with your last sentence SantaCon does _____
I have never done it before, but the one thing Santa Con did teach me, is that this little thing with bike culture in LA and midnight ridazz, we have great people and lots of fun, more fun then anything else I ever done before. The people who seem to be doing the most to make the day enjoyable are people right from here.
My experience with Santa Con was, Santa telling other Santa's not to do certain things. It wasn't the worse thing in the world, I'm glad I did it once, but I wouldn't do it again. If you wanted to go and didn't, I would say, you have no reason to regret it.
Next year, we shall do our own Santa Con on bikes and we won't have to pay $20 to ride a bus to places we can get to quicker on our bikes. Minus the party poopers who attended Santa Con this year.
There was some real buzz-killers yesterday. Who ever tell Joe Borfo, not to do something around here? Nobody, Who stopped Joe Borfo's fun yesterday? Santa....
Well that thing with Borfo was just a little incident. There were others around ready to jump in if things got out of control. Most of the people were there to party and it didn't disappoint. Fuckin with the security at the grove was funnier than shit. We got to slow down there when ride through the Grove. Give security a chance you know? Would be alot more fun fuckin with them than running from them.
The bus ride was a head scratcher, sitting in traffic we could have gotten to our disnation faster by walking! I guess that's what we got for the $20. Doing this on bike would have been a far better option IMO. We could easily pull this off and make it just as much fun.
There were alot of people with great attitudes. Much like burners from burningman. I plan on going next year cause it was a hell of alot of fun!
Thanks to all that convinced me to go! You guys rock!! Thanks to Laharr for giving up your ticket, I owe you one!
To the hotty rockin the santa mini skirt and platform shoes, I want to be your slave!!! Any time, anywhere!!! Call me!!!!
I've gone 02-03-04-05-06-07 and it's been a blast everytime!!! I'm going to go every year forever!!! That said, don't go to SantaCon, it SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!! HO HO HO!
hey allan i hate to tell you but i gave you your little clear plastic bag with the bike stuff and your (red) porno at La Brea tar pits after one of the three buses picked you up. I'm not sure where you went after that... had I known you were worse off than I thought I'd have kept it from you but you seemed fine! so yeah i think you may need to retrace your steps from the tarpits to wherever you ended up after that... can marino help ?
Friday is the toy ride and my bag has all my bike tools, spare inner tube, and tools. The porn tape was me being gang banged by three women. And no, one of them was not my mistress above!
And Daniel better not be making copies of that tape!
marino took to you dingos? then according to the "missing marcus thread" eddie took you to a "secret" place? maybe it's under eddie or dingos pillows? marinos car?
Allen WTF?
I find all your shit and on top of it I have to take you to dinner?
And no Borfo I don't need a reach around. After you humped me on that muddy baseball field I've had it with male "love". All men are pigs. They have only one thing in mind. I'm becoming a lesbian.
I found a few pictures from 2004 Santacon when i stumbled upon them while shooting a commercial near House of Lies (Pies) on Vermont. I'll try to remember to bring them for Den Dinner. Were you involved then? (I didn't recognize any ridazz in the pix).
